It’s time to settle the family rivalries, humble your overly confident uncle, and prove once and for all who actually holds the family crown in Dearborn. The Dearborn Goodfellows Homecoming Bocce Tournament is back—a time-honored, fiercely competitive Dearborn tradition where precision throws meet high-stakes trash talk under the August sun. Whether you’re a seasoned pallino whisperer or you just need a legitimate, noble excuse to hide out by the beer tent while avoiding your mother-in-law’s critique of your life choices, this tournament is calling your name.

Registration kicks off on Friday, August 7th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM right at the Dearborn Goodfellows Beer Tent. It’s $25 per person ($50 per two-person team), but you’d better roll up early because entry is strictly capped at 32 teams.

With $500 on the line for 1st place ($250 for 2nd and $100 for 3rd), there’s more than just money at stake—there’s a year’s worth of bragging rights at the Sunday dinner table and ultimate glory in local lore.
